Ignited Woman Magazine empowers women
Exclusive and intimate, not forgetting empowering. This is how we can describe the Ignited Woman Magazine EmpowerHER Luncheon, held at the exquisite Just Cuban Lounge in Hatfield, Pretoria. The exclusive event gave like-minded businesswomen from different industries the opportunity to network, share expertise while sampling fine wine and gourmet dishes. Ignited Woman Magazine powered by Kanna Media hosted the EmpowerHer Luncheon on the 29th of October. The EmpowerHER Luncheon is an empowerment platform connecting women from different levels of the corporate ladder under one roof, to inspire and be inspired; to learn and to impart knowledge. Come be part of this exciting event presented by Ignited Woman Magazine. The highlight of the luncheon was the informative panel discussion from the seven guest speakers split into three different sessions. The first session focused on business resilience and disrupting industry by incorporating modern technology in business, while the second session was pegged on building a brand and a loyal tribe. The third and final segment of the event was about taking care of the mental health and bodies as we navigate the business terrain. Speakers included disruptive entrepreneurs Bolawana Shivanda, Lomasiko Mnisi, distinguished brand builders Dr Judey Pretorius, Mabel Ledwaba and Kovini Moodley as well as mental health advocate Dr Bongiwe Tlailane and dietician Rea Mokoko. Lastly, Ignited Woman magazine founder and editor, Kamogelo Seekoei closed off the event with closing remarks on her journey to establishing a magazine that seeks to give a voice to women in business, to be seen and heard. And ofcourse what’s a luncheon without giveaways and goodie bags. As the event came to an end, every guest took home an EmpowerHER gift bag courtesy of our sponsors. We look forward to the next luncheon, but mostly to the collaborations among those who attended.
